Nivada Grenchen, under the leadership of Guillaume Laidet since 2018, has reintroduced one of its rarest and most coveted timepieces: the Chronosport.

Originally a prototype from the 1970s with only 20 units ever made, this watch has been reborn, combining vintage aesthetics with modern advancements.

A Limited Vintage Reimagined

The Chronosport’s comeback story began when Laidet found the original model on an auction site. Its appearance on social media quickly created a buzz, leading to high demand for a reissue.

The new Chronosport maintains its historical charm while benefiting from contemporary manufacturing techniques.

Dial Design:

  • Versions: Available in two versions with a textured matte black background.
  • Sub-Dials: Features two sunken sub-dials in taupe with a hint of khaki at 12 and 9 o’clock.
  • Tachymeter Scale: Encircles the dial, adding a racing sports watch feel.
